Join Covenant Eyes on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 2:00 – 3:00pm (EST) for our first church leadership roundtable of the year. We will celebrate together a new and exciting school year by discussing resources and best practices for keeping the students and young people entrusted to our care safe online. This live discussion will be led by Amanda Zurface, JCL, and Rob Stoddard, Church Specialists for Covenant Eyes. Our special guest is Chris McKenna, the Founder of Protect Young Eyes
Rob Stoddard
Rob Stoddard is a Church Outreach Specialist with Covenant Eyes working to equip churches and organizations in the fight against pornography. He is a former business leader, church lay leader, and missionary to Asia. He has been married to his wife Jill for 39 years, they have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren.
Amanda Zurface
Amanda Zurface, JCL, is the Catholic Church Outreach Specialist for Covenant Eyes. Amanda holds a License and MA in Canon Law and a BA in Catholic Theology and Social Justice. Amanda has served in various roles within the Catholic Church both in the United States and internationally. She is the co-author of Equipped: Smart Catholic Parenting in a Sexualized Culture, Confident: Helping Parents Navigate Online Exposure and Transformed by Beauty. She resides in Lexington, Ohio where she hosts amandazurface.com: providing online spiritual direction and canon law consultation.
Chris McKenna
Chris McKenna, Founder: former middle school youth director, and author of
multiple resources for families and churches, including Parenting the Internet
Generation, Exposed: Breaking the Silence of Porn (for teens), and Ready: How
to Heal and Protect Your Ministry from Pornography. His 2019 US Senate
Judiciary Committee testimony was the catalyst for new federal and state online
child protection legislation and earned PYE the Dignity Defense Alert Award in
2020. The PYE team performs hundreds of presentations at schools, churches,
and nonprofits, receives over a million visits to their popular website annually,
and was featured in the Childhood 2.0 movie. Chris is married to Andrea, enjoys
family road trips, nature, running, and candy, and is father to four children.
