In the past 20 years technology advancement (led by pornography companies) has created an accessible world of sexual 'opportunities' that extend beyond the simple viewing of porn. The porn industry provides a fertile landscape for rapid escalation of problematic sexual behavior. Furthermore, platforms are intentionally designed to protect privacy in order to enable secret behavior. The potential for a pornography problem to escalate into severe problematic sexual behavior is that an all-time high, and many porn users are liable to traverse into illegal territory unknowingly. Free accessibility to these emerging facets of technology pose great harm to marriages and families. How do we properly assess the needs of individuals caught in the snare and get them the right support immediately?
