“A Glance into the Beauty of Human Sexuality through a Biblical Theology of the Body”

The body is not only biological. The body is theological. As the Apostle Paul tells us, our creation as male and female and the call of the two to become “one flesh” reveals “a great mystery” – it reveals the eternal plan of the Father for his Son to have a bride, the church. This is precisely why the enemy attacks right here: his goal is to blind us to the “great mystery” revealed through our sexuality. The good news of the Gospel is that Christ came into the world to give sight to the blind and to redeem us bodily.
